General Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) – fanimal

1. Purpose and scope

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“T&Cs”) establish the contractual framework between fanimal, led by its data controller, certified animal behaviorist, and dog trainer based in the Netherlands (“we”, “us”, “our”), and clients (“you”, “your”), for the provision of online animal behavior and dog training services.

2. Services provided

We offer online consultations and behaviorist sessions for cats and dogs.

3. Prices and payment

  • All service prices are listed in euros and include all applicable taxes (VAT included).

  • Payment must be made in full prior to the first session, either via Stripe payment link or bank transfer.

4. Booking and cancellation policy

  • A session is confirmed once payment has been received.

  • Cancellations must be notified at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session to avoid penalties.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time will be charged at 50% of the session fee.

5. Conduct of sessions

  • All sessions are delivered online via a videoconferencing platform.

  • You are responsible for ensuring you have a stable internet connection and suitable equipment (microphone and camera) for participation.

6. Liability

  • You remain fully responsible for your animal at all times during our services.

  • We accept no liability for any damage, injury, or loss caused by your animal.

  • All advice and guidance provided during sessions are for informational purposes only and do not substitute for professional veterinary advice.

7. Intellectual property

  • All materials provided during sessions (documents, videos, etc.) remain the exclusive property of fanimal.

  • Any reproduction, sharing, or distribution of these materials without our prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

8. Personal data protection

  • All personal data collected are processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

  • These T&Cs are governed by Dutch law.

  • In the event of a dispute, we will seek an amicable resolution wherever possible. If resolution cannot be achieved, any dispute will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dutch courts.

10. Changes to the terms and conditions

  • We reserve the right to modify these T&Cs at any time. The version applicable to your order will be the one in effect on the date your order is placed.
